Program Participation Statistics - 2006

• 7,039 Canadian hog farmers were registered on the CQA® program. These program participants produced 21 million hogs in 2006.
• This represents 68% of all hogs born in Canada (31 million), and 95% of all hogs processed in Canada (accounting for the export of 8.8 million hogs in 2006).
• There are over 250 recognized program validators for the CQA® program.
